Andrews Aerospace Launches Raven (eADU) Enhanced Automated Drilling Unit Line
Fort Worth, TX - Andrews Aerospace is proud to announce its new line of Industry 4.0 Tools with the launch of the Raven enhanced Automated Drilling Unit (eADU) Line. The initial launch includes a pneumatic model, the Raven Aether (RA-1) and an electric model, Raven Elektro (RE-1). “This launch is the culmination of several years of research and development and the continuation of the intellectual property we acquired from Fives Group. The Raven symbolizes intelligence, adaptability, partnerships, guidance, transformation, and prophecy. These are all desirable and relevant characteristics in the Aerospace industry,” said Sol Kanthack, Andrews Aerospace President.
AIA Announces Board Appointments for 2021
The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has elected Kathy J.Warden – Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Northrop Grumman Corporation – to serve as Chairman of AIA’s Board of Governors for 2021. Mike Petters – President and CEO of Huntington Ingalls Industries – will serve as Vice Chairman. Eric Fanning has been reelected as President and Chief Executive Officer, and Ginette Colot has been reelected as Secretary-Treasurer.
Andrews Tool Company Acquires Enhanced Automated Drilling Unit Assets from Fives Group and Hires a New Lead Mechanical Engineer
Andrews Tool Company, based in Arlington, TX, has acquired all the assets of Fives Group’s Enhanced Automated Drilling Units and will immediately begin US-based production, sales and support for the technology.
